When you use the app, we collect content you create such as reflections, temple visits, and messages. We also collect basic usage data to improve the app experience. 2. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. 3. Data Sharing Content you mark as public (shared to feed) is visible to other Gather users. Private reflections are visible only to you. We do not share your personal data with advertisers or third-party data brokers. 4. Data Storage & Security Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page, which permanently removes all your data. 5. Cookies & Analytics We use minimal analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. 6. Children's Privacy Gather is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 7. Your Rights You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To exercise these rights, use the account settings in the Profile tab or contact us directly. 8. Terms of Service Last updated: April 2026 1. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account and using Gather, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. 2. Community Standards Gather is a faith-centered community. All content must be respectful, uplifting, and in keeping with Christian values. The following content is strictly prohibited: • Hateful, abusive, or harassing content • Sexually explicit or violent material • Spam, misleading, or deceptive content • Content that demeans religious beliefs • Personal attacks on other users 3. Your Content You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Gather a license to display your content within the app. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. 4. Account Responsibility You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. 5. Moderation & Enforcement We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination. Users may report violations using the report feature on any post or profile. 6. Intellectual Property The Gather app, its design, and all original scripture curation are the property of Gather's developers. Bible verses used are from public domain translations unless otherwise noted. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties Gather is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for any loss of data or interruption of service. 8. Changes to Terms We may update these terms periodically.
